Projeção da Classe GLC
É tanta novidade que vem por aí, tal qual X4, Q4 e outros, que realmente pode ser verdade...

"As some of you already know, Mercedes-Benz is counting mostly on SUVs and crossovers to get back into the number one spot when it comes to global luxury car sales by 2020.
Currently, the three-pointed star manufacturer holds about 25 percent from the global SUV market, courtesy of no less than five different SUV/crossover models, but they plan to increase their share to no less than 40 percent in the next five years.
The first all-new model to complement the current GLA, GLK, M-Class, GL-Class and the venerable G-Class will be the Mercedes-Benz's own BMW X6 fighter, the 2015 MLC.
Previewed by the Concept Coupe SUV at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, the MLC will the first Mercedes-Benz foray into the five-door coupe crossover market, which the BMW X6 has technically invented back in 2008.
Now that the X6 has also received a smaller brother in the shape of the recently-unveiled X4, while Audi are purportedly also preparing both a Q6 and a Q4, Mercedes-Benz isn't sitting still and is set to introduce a MLC baby brother in the shape of the 2016 GLC.
Based on the upcoming second-generation of the Mercedes-Benz GLK, the GLC will essentially be a trimmed-down MLC in terms of looks, and is set to feature a number of powerplants taken from the C-Class W205 and the 2015 GLK X205.
In other words, you should expect everything from a plug-in hybrid to a bonkers GLC 63 AMG variant, which should put the upcoming four-liter twin-turbocharged V8 into an uncharted territory for Mercedes-Benz.
Above you can check out a pretty good looking rendering of how the GLC might look, with Dutch artist Remco Meulendijk doing a swell job at blending a GLA front to the Concept Coupe SUV rear. If it turns up looking at least 75 percent as good as this, consider ourselves sold on the idea, no matter how nonsensical it may sound for some Mercedes-Benz purists".
