"Apparently, having an awesome family name and being the Chief Operating Officer of the third largest car company in terms of sales on the freaking planet doesn't make you Superman, and Martin Winterkorn's kryptonite seems to be checking out competitors' products.


The CEO of Volkswagen AG has always been somewhat of a regular at Mercedes-Benz car show stands in recent years, and the 2014 North American International Auto Show makes no exception.


Seen here sitting in the driver's seat of the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205, Winterkorn is either listening to a bad joke about the Audi A4 or is simply presented with a sales pitch from Thomas Weber, Daimler AG Research and Development Chief.


We don't know what the VW CEO felt about the new C-Class, but he might actually be the one who broke the air vent fin from the car we showed you yesterday. 


We are of course only joking, but the truth is that the fourth generation of the original “Baby Benz” might have already created some rough nights in the Audi future products department."
